Horse Racing

 There are two
horse racing syndicates in the bar and the
current horses are Tatler Jak and Tatler Jill.
These two horses are trained by John McSweeney.
It is hoped to have Tatler Jill ready for the
Listowel Races in September 2006. |

The Island
Hopper and Coastal Crawlers |
|
| |
 This group in
the bar visits several coastal islands around
the Irish coast.
Last May they visited Clare
Island in Clew Bay, Co Mayo.
The trip was a
great success and enjoyed by all.

Dan Sheahan's
Golf Society |
|
| |
 There is a
thriving Golf Society within the bar. The last
trip was to Water Rock, Midleton, Co Cork where
28 members played.
The next trip is to the newly
designed golf course by John Daly in Blarney, Co
Cork on the 19th of August.
